&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Of course, you Charlie Peal, are correct. top paragraph of "whole page" on right I certify on honor that the above Roll exhibits the true state of Capt. A.J. Nicholson’s Company and that they were mustered into the State Service on the 17th day of June 1861 as Infantry until the 25th day of July 1861 on which day July 25th 1861 they were mounted and served as Cavalry until October the 2nd 1861 on which day they were mustered out of the State Service for the purpose of being Mustered into the Service of the Confederate States.
